Privacy policy

Images you upload
Your image is never uploaded. Identification runs entirely inside your browser: the letters are found, measured and compared against the font library on your own device. The image is never sent to us, never written to disk, never stored, and never used to train anything.
There is no server involved in identification at all. This site is static files, so there is nothing for an image to be sent to.
Accounts
There are none. We do not ask for an email address, and we do not have a user database.
Local storage
We store a single value in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme preference. It never leaves your browser.
Third parties
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, both to preview results and to compare candidates against your lettering, which means Google receives a request from your browser for the font files involved. Google receives no part of your image — only the names of the fonts being fetched and the letters being rendered. Their handling of that request is governed by Google's privacy policy. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the site.
